JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) Actor John Goodman is featured in a radio ad opposing a right-to-work law on Missouris Aug. 7 ballot.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported Tuesday that the ad is airing in the St. Louis market.
Goodman says the law is marketed as a way to help workers. But he tells voters to look a little deeper, and youll see its all about corporate greed.

(1,770 posts)with the death of Roseanne! (Not kidding.)
Say what you will, but apparently this turn of events is pissing off Rump-lickers everywhere and they're bitching and moaning all over the place. So it's be worth it to give the show the highest ratings ever!

(7,904 posts)the GOP reinforce the message among their base that it's the welfare state and taxation for entitlements for 'those' people that's the reason no one can pay to have the roads fixed, that all their tax dollars are going to support undeserving drug-using foreigners in the liberal cities while the truth is that the blue states pay for the red states. They won't rest until the only thing states pay for are police and prisons...and it won't be long before they start sub-contracting policing as well.

(21,885 posts)Some of the signs worry me a bit. In the day it's easier to see the whole sign, but at night, at a distance only the large white letters are visible and it looks like "Vote Prop A." Below is an example. I understand why red was chosen, but...

(3,479 posts)Good to hear!! The signs in my area have a Blue background.
We need to run up the numbers in our areas because you know out state rural areas are going to vote Yes just because the catchy title (Right to Work) without even knowing what it's about. Right to Work? Well, that sounds good. Sure, I'm for that.

(3,479 posts)Nice to see NO signs in the Boonies!!
I would say I am at about 100-0 in No Signs to Yes signs!! I did notice an online ad from Families for Prosperity (I think) to click on today. I clicked on it and entered a not very nice email and not very nice message to them. So it seems the YES's are spending their money online. Makes you wonder if it is Russian money..??
