What is the general consensus here on the MO ballot issues?

Last edited Sun Nov 6, 2016, 01:28 PM - Edit history (1)

I think both tobacco tax issues (ESPECIALLY Amendment 3!), written by the tobacco companies themselves, get an emphatic NO vote. Same with the "Taxpayer Protection" Amendment 4--Warmed-over Hancock Amendment hash, IMHO. The election photo ID measure (Amendment 6) also warrants a NO vote/

What are this group's thoughts on these, and other ballot measures? Sad to say, I'm not as well informed on them as I should be....

Everything opposing the tobacco taxes I've seen was paid for by tobacco retailers. Where's the evidence that they were written by tobacco companies?

from a Repub law firm from St. Louis.
Ellinger works in Jeff City and specializes in ballot language.

Emphatic NO on all amendments.
What we need is an amendment that makes 3/4 vote mandatory for amendments.

51% is nothing more than mob rule.
