Ferguson appears to be State House District 74 and perhaps 75. The Democratic Candidates ran unopposed in both races. Voter turn out appears to be so-so.

I am in District 68 where there was a race, along with a Fire District Tax Issue and the Democratic Candidate won handily. Mostly of the ballot was Judge retention along with 4 Constitutional Amendments.

I did note that The St. Louis County Executive race was razor thin. The Prosecuting Attorney that has been in the news since the Ferguson Incident ran unopposed and won handily however there were 10K write-ins in that race. I was not aware of any formal write-in campaign opposing him. That is one I simply left blank with no vote.

I think most of the results were as expected.

2. That is too bad. I was hoping that they would be able to pull at least one race out in their favor.

The write in is ingenious as a lot of people do not even know that exists or how to do it.

3. It simply wasn't going to happen

although 10K write in's is pretty impressive, he won with over 200K unopposed. I am sure that many like myself simply passed by the office as a symbolic protest and certainly he got few if any GOP votes.

On the paper ballot that I used, writing in a name is pretty simple and I almost did, but just decided to leave it blank.
