Mississippi absentee ballots now available ahead of Election Day

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - We are just over 40 days away from Election Day, and in Mississippi, absentee ballots are now available.

Several people came out Monday to the Circuit Clerk’s Office for day one of absentee voting.

If you think you need to vote absentee, Harrison County Circuit Clerk Justin Wetzel says to first call your clerk’s office and see if you’re able to.

After that, you can either go to the Circuit Clerk’s Office or request a mail-in ballot.
