Live close to Ground Zero where George Floyd was murdered by police..... 2 people shot

https://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2020/12/28/minneapolis-police-2-people-shot-near-george-floyd-memorial/

So on Next Door app, folks were having a "discussion" and I handed someone my opinion. LOL.

I am not black, but online people think I am. I take that as a compliment.

Some guy was saying how activists park on his block and if there is no conflict they don't have anything to live for, they need to get a life. Two people just got shot at and he's worried about people taking up parking space on his block, calling the city council stupid and just wanting everyone gone.

NOW maybe, because it is fricken dangerous, I can see his point about moving the memorial somewhere that doesn't draw the same kind of angry murderous folk, but really, where can anyone go?

Dolts with guns go into bowling alleys and shoot people up. It isn't safe anywhere anymore.

The solution is to go after people willing to murder others for no real reason at all, lock them up and throw away the key. IF the police would do that, they'd be doing their job and we could be proud of them again.

INSTEAD we have cops going up to people in their own garages, shooting them.

I could have been nicer, but when people miss the point. People were shot at. Our neighbors. TigressDem Dec 2020 #2

Someone cares enough to go and keep the peace there day after day and they get treated like that?

Why are people so blind to the suffering of others?

And yeah, if I was close enough to get a stray bullet, I might freak out a bit and maybe he's just covering it up with bluster.

BUT I am sick of the victims of crime getting blamed for it.

Know what I mean?
