........What is indisputable, however, is that Klobuchars office consistently has one of the highest rates of staff turnover in the Senate. From 2001 to 2016, she ranked No. 1 in the Senate for staff turnover as measured by LegiStorm, a widely used database of congressional staff salaries. Shes now third, behind Maryland Democrat Chris Van Hollen and Louisiana Republican John Kennedy.
And this is not the first time Klobuchar has had issues building a team because of worries about her mistreatment of staff.

(92,752 posts)Is this a legitimate title or shit stirring? Abuse is a pretty stiff accusation. So the portion you provided refers to her standing in rate of staff pay and that there is a high turnover... anything in the article that would indicate, like from former staff, that there's a big problem with the Senator?
I'm curious, these are the answers I'd seek from the article but I don't consider the "sideboob gazaette"* a fully credible source, especially with a title like that.
*Thanks to Jon Stewart for that one.
question everything
(48,826 posts)except that she took office in 2007!
And I hate to claim misogyny too often but I suspect that many people, working for women, expect a motherly, nurturing boss.
Well, she is tough, perfectionist and expect the same from her stuff.
If she were a man the description would be admirable. Or something.

(28,477 posts)There were employees from that office that begged AFSCME not to endorse her the first time she ran for the senate.
Maybe it explains why her staff is rude when you call her office, even when you're calling to say you appreciate a position she's taken.
