Campaign visits to MN before the March 1, 2016 caucus

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, is scheduled to make stops in Duluth, Rochester, Minneapolis and St. Paul Sunday and Monday. Final event details will come later. She was in Minnesota earlier this month.

The former Secretary of State’s rival, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, is headed to the Iron Range for a rally on Friday morning.

Meanwhile, pastor Rafael Cruz has campaign stops on behalf of his son, Ted Cruz. The Texas senator is angling for the GOP presidential nomination.

Interesting though that both parties are paying attention to our caucuses this year. Usually we're pretty much ignored.

3. So glad that Bernie's heading way up north!

The Iron Range has been smacked really hard by the downturn in China's economy (and the demand for iron ore), so good on Bernie for heading up there to addresss the locals.
