Goings on with Kelly Morrison Zoom Call
The new Congresswoman held a zoom call today 2/13/2025.
Morrison plans on opening a new local office in Plymouth soon (I don't know what "soon" means).

Morrison got thousands of calls about Elon Muck (and his teenage programming bros) messing with the Treasury department.
She came up with some legislation to protect our data. But, the speaker of the house might not do anything and the GOPers in the senate are kowtowing to our new fascist dictator (my words, not hers)
There is huge concern about the VA and privatization. She is against this. Our doctor congresswoman became an MD and trained at the VA. She visited the VA in Minneapolis and said vets deserve the premier care they get at the VA.
The withholding of NIH funds will impact our U of MN. The withholding of funds is not legal. But that does not matter to the GOP who no longer believes in the rule of law. (My words not hers)
The cruel GOP appears to want to cut Medicaid. Morrison said many births in our district are paid for by Medicaid. Lots of children rely on Medicaid. Elderly etc. Why are the GOP so fucking mean?
She is a part of the 6 member Democratic Doctors in Congress.
She is big on veterans affairs. Member of some small business committee. Author of bill for disaster assistance to small business in event of disaster.
RFK Jr. is a crackpot (my words, not hers). Our Doctor Congresswoman said she will call out misinformation from said crackpot.
I am looking forward to the opening of the local office in Plymouth. And to being a visitor there.
The zoom meeting was only 30 minutes long. I am glad my district friends are keeping her phone lines hot.
