I am curious of why Phillips was called to "walk" McC to the throne

I can see Emmer, he is now a biggie there but why Phillips?

Not by blood, though. His biological father was killed in Vietnam when he was a baby and his mother married into the family.

U.S. Rep. Dean Phillips is now co-chair of the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee.

And I think those in leadership roles of both parties were given the "honor."

Dean was an interesting boy when he was younger. His mum, DeeDee was fantastic. He seems quite a bot more conservative than she was. Mort took me to lunch once. That was weird.
