In one email obtained by The Detroit News, Barry County Sheriff Dar Leaf falsely claimed in December that Benson broke the law by sending absentee ballot applications to all registered voters in Michigan. Responding to an email from a Genesee County woman, who asked “under what circumstances can SOS Benson be arrested for her actions,” Leaf pointed to a state law that allows a judge to find probable cause that a public official committed malfeasance in office or willful neglect of duty.
The Michigan Sheriff’s Associated condemned the “dangerous” statements. During an anti-lockdown rally in October, Leaf shared a stage with one of the men charged in the kidnapping plot.

2. Sheriffs in general are low lives. Michigan has some of the lowest of them.

3. Sheriff Richardson from Lenawee County was a friend of mine.

A very red county in SE Mi. he got elected as a Democrat and won re-election. He had a PHD in law enforcement. He passed away a couple of years ago. Not only was the county Red it was also very White and it was amazing that he got elected at all being a person of Color.

We were both born in Arkansas.

I just think on the whole they are a bad lot. Most believe they are the only true law enforcement.
