(1,257 posts)It seems like the return rate is kind of low.... or am I wrong?

(1,495 posts)This seems to be bad actually. Also, if you see the requested ballots, it is low as well. This is not good. C'mon Michigan.

(1,495 posts)Requested ballots are lethargic. Of the requested ballots, anything less than 100% is bad. I am actually worried and no one in Michigan, a DUer, has calmed me yet.

(1,495 posts)Hope I am. I thought it is percentage of the requested ballots that is accepted. I am saying, requested ballots seem to be really low in Detroit area.

(38,172 posts)So far, there's been about 520k requests for ballots in Wayne county for the upcoming election of which 326,950 have already been returned and accepted.
Hillary got 475,950 votes in Wayne county.
So I really don't know why you think that requested ballots seem to be really low in Wayne county. where did you get that info from?

(16,331 posts)I'm surprised that only 38% of registered voters requested a mail in ballot. Wonder if the rest of the registered voters still want to go to the actual polling places or if there are a significant number of trumpers that are not going to vote?
Also, it could be that there are just that many people who still don't understand they can vote at home.
