Michigan Gov. Whitmer Once Again Irritates Trump, Who Fires Back

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been a target of President Donald Trump.

Recently, he's twice tweeted support for protesters who have come to Lansing to voice oppositon to Whitmer's stay-home order. Before that, he referred to the first-term governor as "Half" Whitmer and "that woman from Michigan."

On Sunday morning, Whitmer, who has been named as a potential vice presidential candidate, appeared on CNN where she told Jake Tapper that the state still needs more swabs, reagents and test kits. She also called for a better national strategy.

That didn't sit well with Trump, who says he watched the interview.
