Michigan CEO resigns after remarks at Minneapolis anti-ICE protest

A video circulating online shows a Michigan man shouting, “We executed one of you yesterday” at an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis — the day after a mother of three was fatally shot in the head by an immigration agent in Minnesota.

The video, which includes explicit language, shows Jayden Scott of Bay City shouting at demonstrators on Jan. 8 in the wake of the killing of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good during an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation on Jan. 7.

"The storm is here ... no one can stop what is coming," Scott says in the footage before calling anti-ICE protesters “(expletive) terrorists” and urging others to join him. “Patriots get out here. We need the backup.”

-snip-

On Jan. 10, Scott announced on LinkedIn that he had resigned as CEO and founder of Harmony Investment Group, a Troy-based private health care investment firm and search fund platform.

is always a red flag for an English teacher. "Mountains were moved. Fortunes were made." Perhaps by others, but not by you. The passive voice obscures who is performing the action. If he could take credit for things, he would have written it like this; . I moved mountains. I made fortunes.
Always remember Reagan's use of the passive voice in addressing Iran/Contra, "Mistakes were made".

And a very VERY VERY good reminder about that cad Ronald Reagan. (Yeah, swooning voters gave him two turns, also. Back-to back. Unfortunately.)

It's part of their 2026 election strategy, and the only way they can stop the blue tidal wave heading their way in November.

Groups such as the Stormfront and others have been using it for decades. Qanon is, and always has been, a front for far right anarchy and social upheaval, likely fomented in Russia.

QAnon is a Nazi Cult, Rebranded

Gregory Stanton
Just Security, Sept. 9, 2020

Excerpt...

I have studied and worked to prevent genocide for forty years. Genocide Watch and the Alliance Against Genocide, the first international anti-genocide coalition, see such hate-filled conspiracy theories as early warning signs of deadly genocidal violence.

The plot, described above, was the conspiracy “revealed” in the most influential anti-Jewish pamphlet of all time. It was called The Protocols of the Elders of Zion. It was written by Russian anti-Jewish propagandists around 1902. It collected myths about a Jewish plot to take over the world that had existed for hundreds of years. Central to its mythology was the Blood Libel, which claimed that Jews kidnapped and slaughtered Christian children and drained their blood to mix in the dough for matzos consumed on Jewish holidays.

The Nazis published a children’s book of the Protocols that they required in the curriculum of every primary school in Germany. The Nazi newspaper, Der Stürmer (derived from the German word for “Storm”) spread the Blood Libel. Hitler’s Mein Kampf, his narcissistic autobiography and manifesto for his battle against the Jewish plot to rule the world, copied his conspiracy theories from the Protocols.

The Nazis worshiped Adolf Hitler as the Leader who would rescue the white race from this secret Jewish plot. Nazi “storm troopers” (“storm detachment” – Sturmabteilung) helped bring Hitler to power. Nazi Germany went on to conquer Europe and murder six million Jews and millions of Roma, Slavs, LGBTQ and other people.

America had its own dark side. Henry Ford echoed Nazi hatred of Jews and had 500,000 copies of the Protocols printed and distributed in the U.S. Father Coughlin preached the Protocols on national radio. The Ku Klux Klan combined its white supremacist racism with hatred of Jews.

QAnon’s conspiracy theory is a rebranded version of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

I retired from a job at an insurance company- one I believe gives generally good service because the profit model is getting paid to provide for a group and if you can help them stay healthy you save money. It scares me to think of what creatures are involved in health care.

He may as well be prothlytizing to them. Saying what they're all thinking.

And he may be right; their storm is there going door to door begging someone to attack them so they can strike back with an unrestrained response. A disproportionate attack, a volley so violent, should someone attempt to assert their Constitutional rights no one would ever do so again.

And it's only a matter of time before they are at our door. Coming to a blue state near you.

For example, is this guy a Proud Boy or a Patriot Front stooge? He has that crazy-in-the-eyes look, and a touch of der Fuhrer in his delivery, exhibited by enthusiastic militia types. But back to "we." Have his fellow travelers joined ICE? The "we" seems to be a tell. Saying "We executed one of you" in their presence makes me think it's more than likely.
