and have to be received before election day.

2. If you are using informed delivery, there could be a one day delay between notice and arrival.

I think that scanners (for DHS) send out notices, but the mail may not arrive at or from your post office, before or after the daily cutoff.

I wait a day, but YMMV. Good luck! Go Blue!

5. I got it yesterday. I can't remember ever not getting mail the same day as the Informed Delivery notice.

6. My post office is 40 miles from the scanning center, I think.

They don't advertise, but all items are scanned.
It once took 2 or 3 days for an item to go from one PO Box to another a few feet away.
The joys of living in the boondocks.

4. We should get ours in Burton sometime this week

The Michigan voter information page said they were mailed on the 26th, I called Burton elections and they said that is when they were mailed to them. I am sure they are getting a lot of calls, I told her that with this important election I do not want to get nervous about my ballot. Looking at any day now, I will drop mine off at city hall.
