http://bostonherald.com/news_opinion/local_politics/2013/01/stephen_lynch_set_announce_he%E2%80%99s_running_senate

U.S. Rep. Stephen F. Lynch is set to announce Thursday he’s running for U.S. Sen. John Kerry’s now-vacant seat, the Herald has learned.

He will be holding events in Springfield, Worcester, and Southie that day, said campaign spokesman Scott Ferson.

A source with knowledge of the campaign told the Herald that will be the day Lynch jumps into the race.

Not an endorsement.
