(40,216 posts)2. Good news.
He'd be a poor candidate, what with his somewhat checkered history. The right would have a ball with his candidacy.
Let's run someone who is as squeaky clean as possible.

(237 posts)3. Any suggestions? Grossman?
Some other leading Democrat? Capuano?

(40,216 posts)4. Hmmm. Grossman's a good prospect,
Capuano probably wouldn't consider it, unless he was really tired of doing the DC commute.
I'm sure some good names will pop up.

that maybe that is why he announced he is not going to run for Senator...maybe he would prefer Governor.

(9,463 posts)5. I would have supported Treasurer Grossman
even if Lt. Governor Murray had run. I think he has been an excellent Treasurer, and would make an equally excellent Governor!!

(237 posts)7. Grossman and Capuano have my attention, but
I really don't know any other leading Dems who might want to run.
There were others mentioned in the news, but I really can't even remember who they were.
