I'm worried about the Tierney race

I just drove through a small army of Tsei ( spelling?) supporters in downtown Peabody. Made me sick. The damn casino shit with his wife's family has put a seat in jeopardy that never should have been. Sigh.... I'm taking some comfort in feeling pretty comfortable that Ms. Warren will win back the senate seat though.

If you have any friends up on the North shore, please encourage them to vote, every single vote is going to count this year.

I'll be surprised. Everything was wrong for him this time. Maybe he can pull a win out, inspite of the conditions.

I like Congressman Tierney, but I am starting to think he should have announced he would not be running prior to the primary so that the Democrats could put up a candidate without the baggage that congressman Tierney brings to the ballot box this year.

Now there is a chance MA will have a fucking teabagger in the house.

My whole family is going to vote for him, and proud to do so. His voting record in the House is impeccable, but his personal issues aren't, unfortunately. Couple that with our more conservative 6th due to redistricting, and it's a perfect storm for a Tierney defeat.

On the bright side: Tisei won't make a huge difference in an already republican house, and he can be replaced easily with a good Dem in 2014.

It took a few years for Tierney to take that seat back and for McGovern to win the Worcester seat back after scandal removed Joe Early and Nick Mavrolus (sp) from office in the 90's

while Richard Tisei's "army" is standing in the square holding signs the night before the election, Congressman Tierney's is in his campaign headquarters working hard on GOTV strategy for tomorrow. I was in there to get my poll checking **binder** a short time ago, and - take my word for it - there was a small army in there too.

We will do what is necessary to bring out every vote for Congressman Tierney.
