PITTSFIELD, Mass. (WWLP/AP) – The federal agency that manages U.S. government real estate assets is considering selling off hundreds of federal buildings, including nine in Massachusetts.
The Trump administration on Tuesday published a list of more than 440 federal properties it has identified to close or sell, after deeming them “not core to government operations.” Hours later, however, the administration issued a revised list with only 320 entries. The property list has since been removed from the General Services Administration’s website.
Nine Massachusetts buildings were among the General Services Administration’s list, including the Silvio O. Conte Federal Building in Pittsfield. The Conte Federal Building located on Center Street was named after Silvio Ottavio Conte, a Republican member of the U.S House of Representatives from 1959 to 1999. It houses offices of the Social Security Administration and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

There's no way that these sales don't line Trump's piss-soaked pockets.
