But, guess what? Turns out that COVID working at home lessens the corporate disruption that snow days have on their business.

I hope this does not compare with the blizzard of '78. Stuck here for a week!

The town has a shortage of plows and drivers. The worst part is the possible loss of power. This 200 year old house is not insulated and I have to use the electric radiators when the temp drops below the 20's. If we lose power(possible 80 mph winds), I fear for the pipes. No $$ for a plumber plus there are many houses of the same age that are vulnerable with this same problem.

Like many seniors, I cannot shovel and have to wait for family members to be able to get here to help.
Not a good feeling.
