This shit's better than SOMINEX.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!!
Damn--it's not the speech--it's HIM. He drones on and on in a hypnotic, sing-song fashion...it's awful.
Why do these politicians think it's a good idea to pre-empt JEOPARDY! for their little speeches? Ticks me off! Grrrrr! If they gave their addresses in the form of a question, I might be more tolerant...!

(135,425 posts)It wasn't that bad--he made some of the usual promises, which would be remarkable for a Republican governor from any other state, but he knows just how his bread is buttered (unlike Mitt).
But the DELIVERY!!! If I hadn't been doing my version of a geezer gangster lean in a barcolounger, I would have been doing the bounce-bounce head bob, trying to stay awake!! LOL!

(135,425 posts)every frigging Pats game. I am pretty sure they're going to can it tonight, too, because the Pats are playing at the weekend, and a bunch of loudmouths who look like they couldn't push a broom, never mind a football, down a field will sit behind a desk, hiding their paunches, and "opine" about how this guy is 'ready' and that one is 'struggling' and so-and-so is 'motivated' and that fellow 'needs to get it in gear.'
I'm like "OH SHUT UP...I want to yell stuff in the form of a question at the tee vee!!!" Before I pick up the remote and start clicking, I will usually say something like "When will you assholes move this yammer yammer show to another channel?" and "Why doesn't SONY go with a different channel that doesn't pre-empt so often?" Alas, there's no Alex to give me the clue!!!
