Northampton named one of the Top 10 small cities in U.S.

Despite some local grumbling from locals about how Northampton has been in decline for years, the view from the outside seems to be different. Very different.

Along with The Roost being named one of the best breakfast sandwich places in the nation earlier this year and the Tunnel Bar last month being listed as one of the top bars you need to visit in your lifetime, the city itself was just called one of the Top 10 Small Cities in the country on a survey by Wallethub.com

Paradise City placed eighth in the survey, which compared 1,268 U.S. cities with a population between 25,000 and 100,000. Wallethub's methodology measured 22 key metrics ranging from housing costs to school-system equality and restaurants per capita.

Princeton, New Jersey ranked first, followed by Littleton, Colorado at No. 2, and Dublin, Ohio, which took the third spot.

Great town, lots to see and do. Fantastic restaurants. Just down the road a piece (Rt.9) from all the college stuff. Congratulations to the residents upon this honor.
