Fallon puts Fifty Liberty on fast track

The Fallon Co. broke ground yesterday for Fifty Liberty, its second Fan Pier luxury condo building in South Boston’s Seaport District.
Market demand for Fan Pier’s first condo tower, Twenty Two Liberty, prompted the Boston developer to fast-track plans for the 14-story, 120-unit waterfront building, the company said, noting all of Twenty Two Liberty’s condos were pre-sold six months before its completion.
Designed by Boston’s Elkus Manfredi Architects, Fifty Liberty has a staggered facade with “waved” balconies and terraces, and a landscaped, second-floor “green roof.”
Fallon has started preliminary sales for Fifty Liberty, which is expected to be completed in late 2017.
