KEENE, N.H. —Sunday marks one year since riots broke out in Keene, which coincided with the pumpkin festival.

Although the chaos didn't happen downtown, it is casting a shadow on the event, which has been moved to Laconia this year.

It is also affecting business in Keene.

The pumpkin festival was in downtown Keene for more than 20 years, but this year the festivities are gone along with the thousands of patrons that spent their money in the city.
