A curved nine-story, 118-foot building and nearly one-acre public park are planned for the South Boston waterfront parcel where the former Anthonys Pier 4 restaurant now sits.
New York real estate developer Tishman Speyer unveiled proposed designs yesterday for its 100-unit luxury condominium building on Pier 4 in the Seaport District.
New Yorks SHoP Architects designed the condo building, which will have 16,800 square feet of ground-floor retail/restaurant space and two levels of underground parking. It will be located on the waterfront side of a 13-story office building that Tishman also is developing on Northern Avenue.
A half-acre plaza with a sculptural water feature and tables and chairs for performances and dining would be situated between the condo building and the adjacent Institute of Contemporary Art.
