OK, maybe I'm just too old to come to grips but:

Too many members of 'big business' are trying to push their agenda on the state.
We all know about the Olympics 2024 funny business, the Casino boondoggles, Formula 1 races through the city. What next?
Massachusetts is a viable state, attracting great businesses that will add a permanent plus to the economy. These three proposals strike me as an effort to bring quick dollars, temporary jobs, money for the 'monied'.

I suggest that the governor and the mayors of the state look to the long run, not the quick dollars and temporary jobs.

I don't expect to be around in 2024 but I sure do not want the citizens of this fine state to pay the bills for the 2024 Olympics and the other foolish proposals now up for consideration.
We don't need more ways to gamble. We have the lottery for that if anyone is so inclined. Race cars though the city? Give me a break. Who else will propose some other money-grabbing event for the citizens of the state?

We have had enough great promises of dollars, jobs, great times. I've got to admit that I'm a skeptic but I don't believe any of the propaganda any longer.

Yes, it does have a few temporary jobs, but a lot of those tourism dollars support permanent jobs.
