Martha, Martha, Martha.

I thought Martha made a great AG.

And a wretched candidate for US Senator.

I hope this campaign, she does better than she did against the not too bright Scott Brown.

That PAC ad had me worried that she might not do her homework again. The PAC ad that shows she that she not know how much taxes are, then claims she wants to raise them and index them to COLA so that politicians don't even have to be accountable for voting to raise taxes.

But then, during her last debate with her Democratic opponents, she knew the name of the Patriot and the two guys did not.

(I have a feeling Keller was hoping to down her with that because he is obviously for the Republican and he is not above playing dirty if he can do it sneakily enough to keep his paper thin veneer of journalist cred. Why do Massachusetts Democrats even let him moderate debates?)

Martha, PLEASE do your homework this time and hire a GREAT campaign strategist. You know how Massachusetts loves it some WASP male Republican Governors.

2. I don't think Keller is ever fair, but he is, as I posted, sneaky about his unfairness.

Keller loses nothing by calling the last debate for Martha. He would only look bad if he did not. Clearly, she is going to be the nominee.

This morning, I watched a film of his comments about the debate and the clip they showed was of the Patriot's question, as though that were somehow a pivotal part of who should run for Governor of Massachusetts. Why? What was that question even doing in a gubernatoria debate? Because Martha infamously blew a question about Schilling during her contest with Brown and Keller wants to remind everyone of that?

We can agree to disagree about Keller and his alleged fairness.

ETA: And what happened after Martha got it right? Keller said, "You've been prepped." putting her in a no win spot of either letting the comment go or defending herself. I think he very much had Martha's Schilling gaffe in mind when he decided to include that question.

What? A politician prepped for a political debate? (Aren't they all?)

Would Keller have said that if one or both of the other two wannabe candidates had gotten it right?

4. Sorry, I did not see the debate, but I did see Keller dissecting this morning, so I assumed he had

also moderated.

Maybe Mass should also tell Central Mass? Central Mass apparently watched the debate and still thought Keller was the moderator--and a fair one at that.

BTW, I have no idea what an "a**e" is. If you dont wish to spell it out (literally) on the board, you can pm and tell me.

6. I really don't see a negative with Keller asking the question.

Coakely was the only candidate that knew the answer. It made Berwick and Grossman look out if touch. This wasn't a paid infomercial for Coakley. She handled herself well.

7. We disagree about the innocence of that question. Also, please check out Reply 3.

How Martha handled herself after the question was asked has nothing to do with whether the question was innocent or not. And how about my comments about what Hiller said after she answered correctly? You see that as innocent too?
