WORD ON THE STREET: How far do you think Greater Taunton's medical marijuana patients should have to drive to legally obtain medical-grade marijuana?

Medical marijuana will not be distributed in Taunton in the near future.

Former U.S. Representative William Delahunt’s plans to open a medical marijuana dispensary in the city were denied last week by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services while a nonprofit group called Greeneway was to open a growing facility in the city for their dispensary in Cambridge.

Greeneway's facility was denied by the Department of Public Health.

Delahunt and his company, Medical Marijuana of Massachusetts, planned to open other dispensaries in Mashpee and Plymouth as well, though these were also shut down.

I've seen numerous articles but haven't been able to find anything on the MA web site.
