March and Vigil Commemorating Fukushima disaster in Plymouth 3/11/12

Walk and Vigil for Delay of Relicensing of Pilgrim Nuclear Plant on the Anniversary of Fukushima

On March 11, a walk and vigil starting at 1 PM from the Lobster Pound in Manomet to Town Square in Plymouth Center for a 4 PM vigil. Details on flyer.

This is to draw attention to the extension of the Pilgrim Plant's license for another 20 years by the NRC. The plant is nearly the exact design of the plants that failed at Fukushima and has many safety issues that have not been addressed prior to the NRC decision. It is also to support an effort to encourage the Attorney General to appeal the NRC ruling and to publicize the referendum on the freeze on relicensing on the Town of Plymouth ballot in May.

Please join us if you can. It is a family friendly event. DON'T FORGET DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME CHANGE.
