Storm makes its way across Massachusetts
BOSTON (AP) A storm that could drop a foot or more of snow in some places is making its way across Massachusetts.
The snow hit western portions of the state in the pre-dawn hours Wednesday and was expected to arrive in Boston in time for the morning commute.
Six to 12 inches of snow is expected around Boston, with 3 to 6 inches in southeastern areas before changing to sleet and rain. Higher elevations in western Massachusetts could see up to 15 inches.
Many communities including Boston, Worcester and Springfield, closed schools.

(7,506 posts)This winter has been good for only one thing. The paycheck for the hard working plow drivers. Looks like we'll be shut-in for at least a day or two. Did I hear correctly, another one coming a few days behind this one? Phooey.

I feel for you and all in Massachusetts. My brothers must be really appreciating their blankets, always wrapped around them, watching movies and staying in. Welcome back friend.
No more snow

(106 posts)not news, not even important in politics in our state.
Happens about every year in Jan, Feb, March.
No Republican or Democratic snowflakes. Just snowflakes.
However, 6 hours of national network TV blasted off 3 Boston stations because there was snow on 128?
Must be more imporant than anything else that has happened in the world over the last day for Mass residents.
