Just when I was starting to forget this name, Gomez strikes. Just a reminder that consistency is not exactly a strong quality of his.

(135,425 posts)If he gets substantial backing, his opponent needs to do a little OPPO on that guy.
I'd start with asking why the hell he got out of the Navy. His career path, with all that training and no payoff at the end, doesn't make sense. I think there's some "there" there.

(135,425 posts)I think if he puts his hat in for anything else, though, they should.
This guy, through very judicious timing, managed to miss the only real conflict that occurred during his brief (but expensive in terms of training for the American TAXPAYER) career (a conflict his fellow airman Scott Speicher didn't miss....). He switched to SEALS in the nick of time, missed GW1 entirely, and spent his brief "career" defending St. Kitts and romancing his wife.
Something is just "off" with the guy--I feel it in my bones! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall at his final selection board. If I had to bet, I'll bet he got a lot of 'low confidence' votes. I don't think he worked and played well with others, which is why he "community hopped."

If he starts to get some buzz amongst the Pubbies, some digging will most certainly be in order...
