Brooklyn Day Massacre - The Police Blew It Off

https://www.thebaltimorebanner.com/community/criminal-justice/brooklyn-day-shooting-report-police-7NMKVHSFPJHZNDP3WLY3M6AXSM/

In Brooklyn, MD, a small section of Baltimore about 8 blocks from where I live, the biggest shootout of the year happened on Saturday, July 2nd, killing 2 people and injuring twenty-eight. And the police were nowhere to be found.

There were over 1000 people at the event, and as it got larger, there should have been police presence. Police management told the district to ignore the event. Even when people got scared and called 911 they were told that it was a situation for the National Guard. Who knows how to call the Guard if not the police???

Reading this article left me sick inside because it was personal - it was near my home. They say that someone will be "held responsible". That's really not enough.

A class action lawsuit would probably bankrupt the city, and I don't think that is the way to go. But if there was a way to press criminal charges on those who directed the district not to get involved, I think that would be a start.

Local SHERIFF. It's political, never mind suing anyone.
