My wife and I are attending a wedding there this weekend, and I just wanted to sound out any DUers who know the area for a recommendation or two. Not necessarily looking for anything Michelin-starred or top rated white-linen type, but something that that y’all consider a don’t-miss place when you’re in the area.
Many thanks in advance!

(11,080 posts)(I don't know if they still do this) you could get a 10% discount off your dinner check if you made reservations for dinner there after you had reservations for a show the same night, and I've seen a number of shows after dinner there!

(19,382 posts)On the city dock there’s middleton tavern. Awesome! Armadillos is great!!!! The dock has numerous places.
If you can drive, cantlers is freaking great for crabs! Red hot and blue is wonderful for BBQ.
If you want to upgrade, carrol’s creek is fantastic! Federal House is good. Severn Inn is delicious.
The thing is there are an abundance of awesome places!!! Don’t forget buddies crabs and ribs.
Oh and bonefish Grille
And for fun go to chick and Ruth’s. It is a great place for food. It is a treasure. But it’s not a beautiful place by any means. Go for breakfast. You won’t be sorry. Locals have a fondness for the place. It’s near the docks.

(9,022 posts)It’s literally on the west river. It was a Covid go to for outside dining. The food is good but you are literally sitting on the water. The sound of the wind blowing through the rigging is amazing
