The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) announces

that Calvert County will follow Gov. Larry Hogan’s action to begin Stage Two recovery, effective Friday, June 5 at 5 p.m.

As recovery begins, statewide limitations on gatherings, physical distancing measures and other protective health guidelines remain in place to continue reducing the spread of COVID-19.

“We are pleased to announce that Calvert remains in a strong position to continue moving forward with recovery,” said BOCC President Kelly McConkey. “Getting back to normal is important not only for the economic health of our region, but also for the mental, emotional and physical wellbeing of our citizens. We will continue our gradual reopening cautiously, while making every effort to minimize the risk to public health.”
