Calvert County Extends Local State of Emergency.

'The Calvert County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) today voted for a second extension to the declaration of a local state of emergency for Calvert County. The resolution extends the declaration for an additional 30 days in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The declaration was initially executed by BOCC President Kelly McConkey on March 17. The BOCC voted in April to extend the declaration for 30 days. The state of emergency will expire 90 days after the declaration first went into effect, unless terminated earlier.'
