My Ryobi RM 480e is "dead" Could be a fuse. or something else. Any in Maine, start-ups OK,?....has to be a business opportunity. I have to drive to Kingston, NH to get an authorized Ryobi repair facility.....Gotta be businesses in Maine that are doing this.

(28,361 posts)No issues with the mower's operation until it "died". Not a battery issue, but the charge indicator when you plug in the recharge is out too, so fuse or major wire connection has failed.

Hopefully you can find someone to get it running again. How old is it? Four or five years?

(28,361 posts)Ryobi tech support says there in no fuse that creates the fail scenario I describe. Could be a hard wire disconnection. Someone smarter than me can figure it out.

(13,392 posts)About 4 years ago, I started looking at stuff on Youtube on how to fix and make stuff. I am now building and restoring boardwalk in the local swamp's conservation area. Based on that, I can/could build an entire patio deck. I get a kick out'a doing stuff I felt was beyond my ability....
This is not a criticism of "not doing it anymore." Just an observation. I hope you get the mower fixed at minimum cost.
