You want a definition of "clueless"? D'Amboise claims that Medicare and Medicaid are both stable programs in long run... (????). If we REALLY want to put a big dent in the debt, D'Amboise would start by cutting Congressional salaries by 25%!!!!

HE claims he knows it all, carries his own little child's edition of the US. Constitution, and pledged to Mr Norquist that he would never, never, never raise taxes.

But he really thinks cutting costs on Congress will make up the difference???? He's said plenty of completely stupid things before - but this is so wrong. The dollars Congress pays Congress are way too high - but cutting these costs adds up to a fraction of a PENNY when you're looking at tens of trillions of dollars that Medicare and Medicaid will burn through in the coming decades.
