I just got done reading "Frays" editorial on the republican caucus in Augusta; while I some how partially agree to his conclusion I think his piece is an attempt to clean up what happened and smooth feathers(also known as damage control!)
What Ron Paul supporters done is no different than what congress or our own republican party is doing in legislature right now! completely ignoring the other side and pushing through their agenda right or wrong!
Well in this case those that have been shoving got shoved! But it was legal,well executed,it took planning and it worked! case closed! what I got out of it is we need to
change the presidential election to one vote per voter and do away with the electoral college! we now live in a world of electronic communication and it isn't a week on horseback to reach washington d.c.! that means that folks like "alec" or other special interest groups can't buy an electoral vote!
The last caucus I attended as a republican was in lincoln and I was not allowed to speak because the party patsy had complete control of the meeting. I asked him after why
he ignored to let several people speak and his reply was it wouldn't have made a difference in the vote! (that was the second and last you see the same thing happened
in another town I resided in.
This country exist because we are allowed to gather and voice our opinions! It will not survive if we lose this! None of us have all the answers; but together we have been able to move forward! LARGE FUNDING BY CORPORATIONS CAN INFLUENCE HOW YOU LIVE IN THE FUTURE! AND THEY ARE TAKING WORKERS RIGHTS! WORKERS ARE LOSING PENSIONS,HEALTH CARE,VACATIONS(THE AVERAGE EUROPEAN HAS 6 WEEKS VACATION A YEAR) ,SICK LEAVE SOON WILL BE ELIMINATED BY PERSONAL DAYS(OR WHATEVER YOUR COMPANY SWITCHES TO)
AND SENIORITY,HOLIDAY PAY ETC. IS UNDER ATTACK!
YES THIS IS GOING ON IN MAINE!
