the east -west and the haves
As preliminary planned wouldn't they have to warm up to a north south road to link up w/ it in Canada ????
Looking at a map, I would say that NY,NH and Vermont are all well served by I-89, I-87, and I-93 in the north/south directions.
In Maine, I-95 only serves two thirds of the state in a north/south direction, which is a huge part of the problem that keeps this part of the state in the doldrums
I copied this from another forum-part of the 20% who vote right off the cliff!
our state has been controlled by the haves for years. or I got mine and I'll stop you from getting yours!
Any one but a fool knows that transportation of goods is vital to a healthy economy!
but we are far luckier than say many. California for example has mexico for a neighbor. their economy does not have the potential that canada has. Canada's natural resources are just now developing. They have more power than needed, they are exporting oil, food and other goods that we use. and their products have a shorter distance to travel to our markets.
I say let the naysayer put his butt where his mouth is-lets see him stay off of the turnpike, and I-95 ! lets see him only buy products that arrive in maine via a different route than the pike or 1-95!
HM I think he starves or freezes to death in less than 3 months!
you know the type I'm talking about-they were their when we built the pike! and the first ones to take advantage of it to see the sox, bruins or celtics play!
roflmao at these drones that keep us 50 years behind the times-
oh yeah lets not forget those business owners that have fatten their wallets -one of these drones is an elected offical who kisses "alec's ass!" and pays min wages !
