here is how many venues go: the feds cut their budget lets say in welfare reimbursement. so the state suddenly has to come up with bucks to cover their programs or cut. so they cut to the towns who in turn have no where to turn but raise taxes! hmmm so the home owner orders a case of vasoline and inserts the results a "kick in the ass" because they will raise taxes!
the president and congress spout how they have reduced spending; the governor grabs every media outlet to tell how he was responsible for cutting welfare and what a good job he has done! the selectman go into the back room and two months later the town administrator,is fired! but in the mean time you the homeowner receive your tax bill and your taxes in creased again! and I'll tell ya sumthin in my old age I have come to realize both parties are expert at this! so pucker up cuz it's goona happen again in the good ole state of maine!
