Red River in Shreveport still projected to crest Sunday at 36.5 feet

At 9 a.m. Saturday the National Weather Service observed Red River at 35.69 feet. By 7 p.m., Red River is projected to reach 36 feet. The crest at 36.5 is anticipated Sunday at 7 p.m.

Bossier Sheriff Bill Davis said early Saturday Cash Point RV Park, north of River Bluff subdivision, has water in the park. Most RVs have moved out of the park. About 50 RVs and mobile homes are affected by the flood.

Cash Point the Party Place, an event business near the park, is taking in water, he said.

Red River South Marina, south of the Jimmy Davis Bridge, is taking in water. At least two houses in River Bluff are taking in water, according to Davis.
