FCC proposes $144K fine against Morehead TV station

MOREHEAD - Two local television station operators are under fire from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for allegedly operating without a license for nearly 20 years.

The commission has proposed the maximum fine of $144,344 against the two for continuing operations.

The low-power station locally famous for their program “Buy a Dog, Sell a Hog” is located at 135 Lee Cemetery Road.
