Related: About this forumMaking calls this morning, chasing absentee ballots and
one woman told me she'd changed her mind and decided to vote at the polls Tuesday, so she threw her absentee ballot away!
I gave her the auditor's telephone number but warned her that if she can't find that ballot, she probably won't get to vote.
One vote to a customer folks!

(41,363 posts)1. She can vote.
If you lose it, threw it away, or if it never arrived you sign a document and they let you vote. That information is on the Sec. of State website.

(63,213 posts)3. Hmmm -- thanks. All these years all I have ever heard is that
you must surrender the absentee at the polling place to be able to vote.
Hopefully the auditor and the voter were able to work things out.

since they would need to verify the mail in one wasnt sent back.
