They said it had been fairly busy today. Hopefully lots of people putting in giant fuck you votes against Blum, Lundgren, et al.

(18,470 posts)Yeah I noticed it was gone too now. Even when we had it I always took the time to go through the ballot and take the time to review each choice on the ballot.
John Paul II said in Universi Dominici Gregis that the reason he was getting rid of electing Popes by unanimous acclamation or by committee was that those methods didn't make each Cardinal express their choice for their candidate personally. I think it should be the same in elections here - I think people actually should express their choice for each candidate instead of just saying straight party, be it either for R or D and not actually voting for an individual candidate.
