Finally broke down and called Grass man's office about Kavanaugh

haven't called in a while because I feel so frustrated when I call his (and Ernst's) office.

I know they would much rather give me a "fuck you" rather than a thanks for calling.
I especially know that 100% of Iowans could be against the Grassley side and he would do whatever he wanted. Matter of fact that was about the situation with Merrick Garland. Then later that same year Iowa gave him 65% of the vote.

But the Kavanaugh appointment is so important I took one for the team and will be doing so frequently in the next weeks.

I just cuss him out when I see his ugly face on TV. It provides me satisfaction, and accomplishes exactly as much as a phone call would.

Ask Grassley about why he didn't respond to offers from other government workers to testify about Kavanaugh.

Ask why no one asked Kavanaugh who paid off his gambling debts.

All we get is a lowly staffer who says "I'll pass your concern along" - what comes next is "to the wastebasket" I believe

but last night I went to Grassley's questions and comments section and left a comment. It was scathing, and while I know it will have no effect on ol' Chuck, at least I did something.

The guy here in Davenport told me a few months ago to quit calling the office, and I was somewhat afraid of getting hit with harassment charges, so I did. Time to exercise my rights as a citizen and start again.
