Email from David Young - help me out here
I don't know why I get his emails since I am nowhere near his district.
The BS lie that he never "voted to cut Medicare or Social Security" - he has voted for the Trumpy tax cut etc.
- isn't this like step 1 in a process of them trying to get their hands on SS and Medicare?
- wasn't there a vote on another tax cut proposal that would shift some Medicare money to cover tax cuts for the rich?
- In voting to cut Obamacare weren't moneys that were shifted from Medicare to OCare removed from Ocare but not restored to Medicare?
I am somewhat confused by all their machinations. We have also been spending most of our time caring for my elderly MIL, so I have lost all the details around how things have shifted.
Technically he may have NOT voted to cut SS and Medicare, but other votes have had that effect? And just because he hasn't doesn't mean he won't.

I also wanted to clear up an important issue. Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation out there and I wanted to make sure you all knew I have never voted to cut Social Security or Medicare. I don’t think we should call these programs entitlements because it is your money which you paid into the program. Your government promised you this money back, and I will continue to work to strengthen Social Security and Medicare.
