UghThe brief relies solely on media reports and public facts, but summarizes those show substantial evidence that President Trump attempted to impede the investigations.
However, the writers also note we do not yet know all the relevant facts, and any final determination must await further investigation, including by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. To that end, neither Mueller nor any other court is pursuing formal charges against President Trump for obstruction of justice.
While some have argued the Presidents actions amount to obstruction, as the authors note, we do not know publicly the full circumstances. The fact that he does not face any formal charges makes the statement misleading at best, which is why it gets a D.

(63,201 posts)I don't believe any Iowa TV or any stations bordering Iowa are owned by Iowans or any local people any more.
KCRG is no longer the Cedar Rapids Gazette (CRG) station. They are now owned by Gray TV out of Atlanta. Sounds like they are a bit on the 'conservative' (reactionary more like it) side.
I didn't watch the whole clip. I was a bit surprised to see Bruce Aune(? I think his name is). We are in QCA market now so I seldom see him anymore. Used to like him a lot, but sure looks like he will say about anything now. Must be hanging on to retirement.
I did see that Gray also bought KWQC (ch. 6 in Davenport) in my area about the same time. About the only local news I watch is what comes on before the weather. I noticed about 2 years ago KWQC got really shitty and was doing a lot of those canned crap stories like Sinclair does. So that explains why.
The newspapers are crap in Iowa, the radio is almost 100% far right wing, the TV is about to be totally owned by out of state reactionaries and AJIT PAI is about to take away net neutrality and turn the internet into a giant cable-TV like piece of crap.
NPR and IPR are afraid of their own shadow and bend over backwards not to say anything that will upset the right wing. I seldom listen to them anymore. I usually listen to freespeech TV, MSNBC or what little progressive radio there is in this country on the internet.
Just in case you ever wondered why Iowa voted 60% for Trump, just look at the piles of shit we have for media.
