Iowa football wave to children's hospital

geez that just breaks me up every time I see it.

"The greatest tradition in college football" the sportscasters call it. And it is now 2 months old.

We saw Urban Meyers go to the middle of the field today and wave. IIRC so did James Franklin and PJ Fleck.

Shoot I even have a little choke in my throat as I write this.

chokes me up every time to see all the fans and both teams' players and coaches waving to the kids. This is the Iowa I know and love, where we care about each other, especially the vulnerable.

It has garnered tons of good publicity for the children's hospital and the University in General.
