now that the fucking things are legal there's a lot of idiots that seem to think that means they are also harmless.
So now thanks to the fucking idiots in the iowa legislature we get to listen to these things from now til what? the end of July?
The cats are scared, the dogs are scared I am worried that that some idiot will land one on our roof and burn the house down.
And what about the poor veterans with PTSD? This crap must cause some horrible reactions.
Good old legislature just has to bow down and kiss businesses ass in this state.

(6,017 posts)Ours told us it works, although not as good as dramamine (which does not act as a sedative). It is difficult to overdose if using the infant or child formulations in liquid form. We used benedryl (diphenhydramine HCl) for years with ours before they outlawed fireworks in much of our state. But again, check w/ your vet first, never give your pet drugs based on some anonymous person on the Interwebs' word.

(21,068 posts)I have not tried these on a dog but you can find them pretty cheap at Walmart of all places. Might be worth a try.

(3,292 posts)it is a year round activity. Birthdays, weddings, funerals, any and all reasons to get drunk and make as much noise as possible despite the fact that a permit is required. The only problem is nobody gets the permit because the sheriff dept. refuses to enforce the law due to lack of enough deputies. And so it goes.
