That's exactly what he wants.
Despite the mass shootings last weekend at an Orlando, Florida, nightclub, Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley continues to believe that people on FBI no-fly lists should still be able to buy guns.
He contends those no-fly lists are not accurate. So does the National Rifle Association. But presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump supports banning gun sales to anyone on the no fly lists.
And Trump says he plans to meet with the NRA to discuss the issue. Grassley told us he's not sure what Trump's position is, but Grassley said he only supports gun-buying bans for people who have gone through due process of the judicial system.
"I think we all agree that people being on a list, constitutionally put there, having due process, in the process of being there, is a perfect way of keeping guns away from people who shouldn't have guns," he told KCRG-TV9 on a media call today.

Let's stop sugar coating it when it comes to that SOB and call him out on his stupid shit.

OP
Agreed. A little confused by the OP's point here. As liberals we're against due process?

(5,417 posts)3. It seems a lot are only for due process when republicans are in power.

(18,470 posts)5. And the second a due process was set up to bar people on the lists from having guns...
...Grassley would move the goalposts and come up with some bullshit excuse as to why such people should still have any goddamn weapons they wanted.
