Grassley may skip convention to campaign

Yeah maybe he's nervous about his chances this time;

Sen. Charles Grassley says he may go to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland in July if he can find a hotel or motel for one night. He says he doesn't like spending money for five nights of lodging.

He says he's gone to every convention since 1980 and always swears he'll not go again. He may campaign for re-election in Iowa instead. Senators seeking re-election often skip the convention.
